Knickerbocker or dolce far niente - the art of doing nothing: Hase is the name.
It is exactly a hundred years ago that the old Haas house burnt down. A year later, it was rebuilt as an inn. Since then, owners and names have kept changing. For us locals, however, nothing ever changes. We are going “to the Hase.” We from the Mühlenerhof also return to the roots and once again name our Pizzeria & Restaurant Hase.
Two stars in the kitchen: The right and the left hand at the oven.
You can tell when something is done with love! Landlord Christian Hase himself and name employee bake the crispy, delicious pizza from the wood-fired oven at the Hase with passion. In addition to the classic pizzas, there are special themed weeks throughout the year, for which the two pizza bakers always come up with something new.
Take fresh ingredients, stone-ground flour and plenty of time.
That is the secret of the popular and incidentally also easily digestible “Hasen Pizza". All good things come to those who wait, so the pizza dough here is treated to plenty of rest and time, at least 48 hours. The various doughs, wheat, with chia seeds or wholegrain, are stone-ground.
